Matthew 28:19–20

Who has had the greatest spiritual influence on your life, and what did they do that helped you grow in your faith?  

Truth #1:

Every Believer Is Called to Make Disciples 

Discussion Points:

  1. Jesus commanded His followers to go and make disciples of all nations.
    (Matthew 28:19)
  2. The Great Commission is not optional but the mission of every Christian.
    (Acts 1:8)
  3. God equips ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary Kingdom purposes.

Making Disciples Means Teaching People to Obey Jesus

  1. Jesus instructed His followers to teach others to obey everything He commanded.

  3. Modeling a Christ-centered life is one of the most powerful forms of discipleship.

What does obedience-based discipleship look like in your daily life?

Jesus Empowers and Accompanies Us in the Mission

  1. Jesus promises to be with His disciples always as they carry out His mission.

  2.  We do not make disciples through our strength but through God’s grace.

  3.  Remaining connected to Christ enables lasting spiritual fruit.

Where do you need to rely more on the Holy Spirit rather than your own abilities?
